🙋♀️Marissa joined @smartbodyandperformance 18 weeks ago in menopause wanting to finally feel like herself again.
After moving city, job and having some personal trauma she noticed her body change over 2 years and wasn’t happy with what stared back at her in the mirror.
She had a health checkup that said she was 30% body fat and wanted to lose weight whilst gaining some lean muscle.
She tried yoga, another coach in the past, and some gym work but she could never see the progress when she went.
We started by creating a new nutrition structure 🌮she would eat a lot of junk food on her breaks and would usually just grab something convenient to eat for dinner as opposed to prepping something healthy.
So we implemented a plan that would help her be held accountable bug most important enjoy the food she was eating,
Which made it sustainable long term. 🙏
She then became addicted to feeling energetic, confident and healthy.
Before you know it marissa was:
👉Chasing PBs (Personal Bests) with her weight training
👉Hitting her sleep, step and water targets as second nature
👉Motivating others within our community sharing her wins, tips and recipes.
👉Finally feeling confident in herself and her future physique.
The biggest turning point for marissa was understanding that she can still enjoy meals out, social events and some junk.
Transforming without restriction is how you sustain long term results. 🔥
